Our Story

Long story shot – we meet in 2022 in Iceland.

The Harpa Convention Centre. Temporary home to a gathering of people passionate about the latest research in positive psychology, coaching, and anything to support people in living their best lives. Two strangers got chatting about their shared interests and what had brought them to the conference.

Later, as others danced the night away to Iceland’s premiere live band, the two delegates spoke more about their research and personal experiences of menopause.

As the conference closed, the two friends chatted as they huddled in a doorway, avoiding the wind of Reykjavik. The issue of menopause still in their conversation, they stepped through into the warm, inviting comfort on the other side of the door and right there, the idea was born. Women need a welcoming place, away from the constant demands of everyday life –  a brief respite to refresh, share a laugh and recenter themselves; time and space to plan their own way through menopause.
